Monday, August 17 - Sunday, August 23 * Days 41 - 45 (We're almost to the half way mark!)
This week's challenge is to write while listening to music. Choose a favorite album or playlist or even a single song, and write, letting the emotions in the scene be influenced by the music.
If you're up to it, post a snippet for us to read.
Happy writing!

Ok, I got one--
This one was written (well, revised, really) while listening to Van Helsing's "All Hallow's Eve Ball":
The dancers, a hideous mesh of half-formed beasts, made a sweep of colors and trailing ribbons around her, then settled just as gracefully into two long rows, leading down the dance floor of the Pavilion. At the end of the aisle they made stood Keeper, straight and at ease. He glinted black in the candlelight. A twist of a smile was on his face.
Heather, I love that you listened to something that matched what you were writing.
I didn't think I was going to do this prompt, as it is very difficult for me to concentrate on anything other than music when I am listening to music, but tonight I went to the park to write and watch the sunset, and there was some sort of performance that involved native drumming and vocals, so I did, technically, fulfill the requirement. :o)
I ended up writing about a brief encounter with a kid who showed me where the tadpoles had been. I also wrote the sunset as it progressed, along with a question about geese, and the lovely discovery of having stepped in goose droppings.
